Babeina LLC (“we,” “us”) operates Portlio, an internal fulfillment and billing portal, at https://portal.babeina.com. This policy explains how we handle information when we use Plaid to connect a client’s Etsy payout bank account.
This page is intended for our fulfillment clients and for compliance with financial data partners. Portlio is not a consumer-facing public app today; access is limited to Babeina staff and (in the future) authorized client users.

What we collect
When a client agrees to connect an Etsy payout bank account, we use Plaid to:
- Identify the financial institution and account (e.g. account name, last four digits)
- Read account balance and transaction history (dates, amounts, descriptions)
We do not collect or store bank login usernames or passwords. Plaid handles authentication with the bank.
We also store fulfillment and billing data in Portlio separately: costs, deposits, payments, and statements related to your store.
How we use bank data
We use Plaid data only to:
- Match Etsy payout deposits and payments sent to Babeina
- Maintain an accurate ledger and weekly billing statements for fulfillment services
- Reconcile what you owe or are owed under our fulfillment agreement
We do not:
- Move money or initiate transfers from your account
- Sell your bank data
- Use your bank data for advertising
Who can see your data
- Authorized Babeina staff (OWNER and AGENT roles) who manage your account
- Hosting and service providers that process data on our behalf (see Subprocessors below)
We do not share your bank transaction data with other clients.
Retention and deletion
- While your bank account is connected, we sync transaction data as needed for billing.
- When you disconnect your bank account in Portlio (or ask us to disconnect it), we remove the Plaid connection and delete synced bank transaction data from our systems.
- Billing records (deposits, payments, costs, statements) may be kept for accounting, tax, and dispute resolution as described in our fulfillment agreement.
Security
- Bank connection tokens are encrypted at rest.
- Production traffic uses HTTPS.
- Access to Portlio is restricted to authenticated staff with role-based permissions.

Your choices
- You can decline to connect a bank account; deposits and payments can be entered manually instead.
- You can request disconnection at any time by contacting us or using the disconnect option in Portlio (when available to you).
- You can contact privacy@babeina.com with questions or requests about your data.
Subprocessors
We require subprocessors to protect data under their terms and applicable law.
Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Material changes affecting bank data will be communicated to connected clients.
Children
Portlio is a business tool. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
